It hit her again and she ran into the trees.
She needed to be alone. Isolated from all the anger and confusion. Alone with her thoughts and memories. Memories of him... the way that he used to be. The way that she knew he once was.
This is the way that life had been for a little while now. Every once in a while she would realize everything that was going on and she would have to get away. And every time, without fail, that faithful tree was there to greet and comfort her. She would nestle herself in among the leave and branches until she felt protected. Protected from the hate and the passion and the pain and the lonliness.
The sun would shine on her face and warm her tear-stained cheeks. But with each heavenly ray, another silent tear would fall.
Nothing could stop the pain; it was everlasting... endless. The guilt was over-bearing, but in that haven she felt safe. And she felt beautiful because out there she was surrounded by nothing but untainted beauty.
Oh, and the scarf. Of course she had the scarf. She would hold onto that red scarf until her hands went numb. That scarf was her story. It was there to witness everything. It never gave up, never left, never cried.
And against that scarf, her pure white shirt reflected innocence. She knew that she was dressed in lies. Covered in lies.

Only the scarf told the true story...
It told the story of her love, and of his lust and the way she longed to be in his arms even after all this time.

How do you do that?!
I had every intention to NOT tell you. Which was fine, because there wasn't much to tell.
But nooo... the little bit that could be said, you dragged out of me with one simple question.
and I don't know how to lie!

Now, I know that I'm making this a big deal, but it is to me because its just not fair to you.

BE FAIR!

"nevermind, forget it, I just have stuff to think about."
Fine. That's okay with me.
But do one thing for me...
While you're thinking about the stuff you have to think about, try to step out of the usual "you" way of thinking, and be selfish.
(I think you understand what I mean)

*Forever one.*

Alright, it has come to that time again.
I'm bored. with everything.
bored with life.

I want to get something pierced... or dye my hair.
(I like my length, so a haircut is not an option this time.

Well, maybe just a trim... heh
.)
*...and then I want to go streaking to show off my new hair color and body jewel.* ...perfect.

This is all about us, baby!
Team time! and post victorious game depression? :-/ but no big deal...
because together, we can handle anything.

Live it up, girls.

One team, one time.

Living without it would be torture.
*I love this game.*

That feeling is back. The one that draws the candle in. That candle. mm, the flame. the heat. the pulse. the temptation. the truth.

oh baby, how much I miss the burn for you.

Me to me: "You are over reacting, you stupid shithead. Shut the hell up.

No! Because this is what i'm really thinking..."

Thank you for letting me know what I have to look forward to, because I know for damn sure it'll be better than anything I get from you.

*and that, my gentle little friend, is that.*

They are so in love.
The story of their lives, I tell you.
Love.
Love and love alone.

They begin as strangers as any two people do. and then they meet. face to face, eye to eye; in the seventh grade. They talk... become friends, perhaps. But as everyone knows, boys still have cooties.
and then comes highschool: freshman, sophomore, junior, senior. and still nothing.

Within no time, there is the fear and excitement of college. She in Boston and he in Maryland. So much distance. But still, it is common knowledge that Thanksgiving is when things happen, right? :-/ (or something like that)
And THAT is when it all began.

phonecalls. Every Saturday night.

letters. Constantly, staying informed.

Sophomore year of college; she's sitting on her floor talking to him on the phone. A feeling washes over her... safety, truth, reality... everything. He's the one. She finally knew it.
He knew it all along, he says. but then again, he also claims to never be cold... and by definition of humans, that is impossible.
Junior year of college; the snow brings eternal love, maybe? Christmas vacation he proposes. Seeing as she has known for a year, she accepts with huge smiles.

A year later it is a done deal. Two weeks after their college graduation and one week after they bought their first apartment.
He 21, she 21.

It was the beginning of the rest of their lives, some may say. And they could not be more right. "for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do us part." (or 'for as long as we both shall live')
It's been 19+ years. And those vows could not be kept better. By anyone.
They are truly amazing. indescribable. and most definitely irreplaceable.

I love knowing your story. And I love being loved by you both.
and I love you.

*They are the most honest people I will ever come to know.*

I want to jump up on stage with you,
I want to give you my clothes.

...back to the beginning.
Back to before everything.

*Let's go back.* Come with me?
