It reminded me of the night that we went for a walk.
The night that I was in pajama pants and no shoes.
We walked to the streetlight past the dark part of the road and then turned around to walk back.

But this time it wasn't about me and her.
This time, I wasn't the one talking.

I was simply there to listen to you.
I like the fact that you talked... to me.

I hope I didn't seem too pushy with questions, but I just wanted to understand better.

I want to help.
I wish I could help.

I don't think I can help this time.
But I can always listen...
I was there to listen because you can't tell many people.

And that's alright.

*Thank you for the hug.*

Oh boy do I love you!

I haven't laughed that hard in SO long.
In fact, I don't think I've ever had tears streaming down my face.

It was almost 5, right?

and you just put a little in your sprinkle. I mean a sprinkle in your little.

You retarded bug, you. Who also has the amazing talent of interpretive dancing. ;)

You were like, "it pisses the ff--sssshhhhhiiiiiittttt oooouuutt of me ME ME ME ME!!!!"

AAAH A MONSTER!!!! MATRIX MOVE!!! into my lap! haha

Anyone up for french fries at 2:45?
WE'RE MAKIN FRENCH FRIES! ANYONE WANT SOME FRIES?!
The whole NINE servings!

How'd that Dr. Pepper/Coke taste? Loser. haha

Oh man... soooo many more.

It's amazing what can happen when you are running completely off of caffine until 4 in the morning.

Completely serious conversations and times when we are holding our aching sides as we are doubled over from laughter.
That is why I love you.

You now know something that no one else knows, my dear.

We had so much fun. :)

*I love us.*

It's like a bruise that you can't help but touch.
Over and over again.

The outcome is always the same, though.

Pain.

And then you show your bruise to other people.
Some will give you sympathy and maybe even ask how you got it.
What do the others do?
They touch it.

Pain.

There must be someone out there, though, that would touch the bruise and heal it.

"Look what happened to me," you would say and show them your wound.
They would ask what happened and then they would touch it.

Pain?

Not this time.

You would look down and the bruise would be gone.
Completely healed by one special person's touch.

What happens if the healer is the same person that caused your bruise?

Will you trust them to touch it again?
Think about it.
... but be reasonable.

*Perhaps they didn't mean to hurt you in the first place.*

They yelled.
and she wished that she could say so much more then she would allow herself to.
She knew that he was wrong.
She just wondered by the hell he couldn't understand that too.
He kept his voice low, but she knew that if he could he would have screamed so harshly and so loudly that he would have regretted it.
He didn't.

He did, though, say many things that just made her think.
They made her upset, yes, but they also made her think.

She noticed that lately his words have been getting more and more serious and more and more harmful.
But she knows that he doesn't mean it.

He always apologizes and feels bad in the end.

But once you say something, you can never take it back.
No matter how hard you try.

And he did say something.

He wanted her to choose.
He told her to choose.

And on that note, she felt no need to remain there... with him.
The whole conversation wasn't fair and she knew it.

So with all the dignity she still had, she walked to the door.

*knowing that his eyes remained fixed on her.*

You're so scared.

I hate to see you like this. Absolutely hate it.

I wish you could talk to me about everything that you're feeling because I would love to know all your thoughts.
I want you to be able to tell me what you're worried about and what makes you cry.
I wish you knew how much I care.

You keep so much in, but I know that you tell him, and I saw you telling them tonight.
And that's fine; I'm glad to know that you have someone that you can talk to about it.

You are not alone in this, I hope you understand that.

You know how much I hate the thought of it, but I hope that you also know that I want to help you as much as possible.

You're terrified, but I know that you'll be fine.
You'll actually do great. Just like always.

You can handle anything.

It will be fun, lovely.
You'll have a great time.

We'll miss you, and you'll miss us... but it will be fun.

You will have so many stories to share with me when you get home, and we can stay up all night in front of the fire and talk about everything that has been going on in both of our very seperate lives. Just like we used to.
You can update me on your new life... every little detail of it.
And I'll be sure to tell you everything that's going on around here so that you can also be sure not to forget your "old life."
Same old, same old, for me; and new, fun things for you.
I want to hear all about it.

We'll go on long drives and talk some more.
And I'll pay for gas.

We can sing to wonderful songs that you like, and belt out sweet harmonies that only you and I can achieve together.

And sometimes, on cool spring evenings, when you come home for spring break, we can sit out on the porch and reminisce on old times that we will remember forever.
Forever.

Memories last a lifetime, so in reality, you have nothing to worry about.

Sure, you'll be nervous at the beginning but that will be half the fun.

So, it's alright to be scared, and it's alright to cry.
But know that I'm here if you ever need me. No matter if we're on good terms or not. Stupid little disputes mean nothing when it comes to needing a shoulder to lean on.
... and mine is always free for you.
Use it. :)

I love you so very much.

*You are never alone.*

I just need these next couple weeks to be over...

Then I'll be okay...

I need sleep extremely bad right now...

I feel so shitty... my stomache hurts, I constantly feel like crying, and I don't like it one bit.

I just keep telling myself, "Only a few more weeks......."

*But as for now, I'm a mess.*

That was the most uncomfortable situation that I have ever experienced.

*And I hated every second of it.*

Monday, May 03, 2004

I will always remember that day.

In reality, it wasn't much.
But it meant the world to me.

I think you know that.

*And I'm glad that you are reminded too.*

Tell me something about yourself that I don't already know...
I mowed the lawn today, and I was reminded of summer. I love iced coffee. My stairs are not clean right now, and that is my next task for the day. I need a job because I need money. So does my Daddy. My family is the greatest thing in the world, but sometimes I don't appreciate them as much as I should. I love to dance, but don't do it nearly as much as I would like to. The beach is one of my favorite places in the whole world. I can't sleep at night without a blanket no matter how hot it is. I wish I had someone to sleep with. I want to have a baby girl named Jaycin. I don't much like the mall. Trust is one of the most important things in the world to me. My room has been in progress since the very beginning of the school year, and it's going to be completely done by the end of school. I'm scared, but so very excited for school to end and summer to begin. I wish that I could drive... legally. I cant wait to grow up, but not too fast. I love being tan. I'm very nervous about graduation this year and everything that's going to follow it. I don't like it when people see me cry. My father is very good at giving advice, and I hope to never disappoint him. Sometimes pain helps to get through hard times, but it is not necessary. I love my friends. I wish someone would hold me, but I'm patient. The future terrifies me.

*I bet you didn't know that.*
